Engineer, entrepreneur,
and STEM advocate

I grew up in Alexandria, Egypt — where I fell in love with building things. That curiosity led me to the University of Louisville's Speed School of Engineering, where I'm now pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science & Engineering with a 4.0 GPA and a capstone project for a real-world client. I'm also concurrently completing my B.E. in Computer & Communication Engineering at Alexandria University.

Outside the lab, I run Customized Teez, a custom clothing print business with a storefront at Jefferson Mall and an online Shopify presence. Engineering and entrepreneurship are, to me, the same skill: you identify a problem and build a solution.

I'm looking for a Fall 2026 co-op or internship where I can contribute to embedded systems, IoT infrastructure, or full-stack engineering — and learn from people who take their craft seriously.

🏆 1st Place — Engineering Design & Innovation Showcase 2026

A modular, offline-capable health and diagnostics dashboard for commercial beverage dispensers. Each dispenser node communicates over LoRa to a Raspberry Pi 5 gateway, which pushes telemetry through an MQTT broker into InfluxDB — then surfaces it in a live Grafana dashboard. No internet required.

Designed and built the full website for Perfume Paradise — a fragrance retail brand. Handled the visual design, layout, and front-end implementation to create a clean, product-focused shopping experience that reflects the brand identity.

Web Design HTML / CSS JavaScript E-commerce

Designed and implemented a relational database-backed web application for vehicle rental management. Built an admin dashboard for inventory, users, and transactions using SQL and PHP — covering the full stack from schema design to UI.

Built a Unix shell from scratch using Lex and Yacc for tokenization and grammar parsing. Supports piping, I/O redirection, background processes, and built-in commands — all implemented at the system-call level in C.

Deep-dive into the Raft consensus protocol for distributed systems. Analyzed leader election, log replication, and fault tolerance mechanisms — building intuition for how systems agree on state in the presence of failures.

Officiated at WRO competitions — evaluating robot performance, verifying rule compliance, and ensuring fair outcomes under pressure. Also contributed to developing orientation materials for the WRO University Category.

Robotics Leadership Judging
